Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore
Located 25 miles Northwest of Traverse City, Visitors Center is on M-72 at Empire, 326-5134. 70,000 acre park encompasses expansive coastal sand dunes, miles of beaches, hardwood forests, streams, lakes, and rugged bluffs towering as high as 450 feet above Lake Michigan.
